I've had a couple of bounties killed because my comp happened to hit their most powerful attack before I had a chance to freeze them.Īlso, there have been a couple weird moments where I'd hit the freeze button and it would not immediately freeze (and if I forgot to passive my comp, it would result in a kill). To avoid frustrations when you are playing with a comp, when you get the bounty down to maybe 13-15% (or 6-8%, respectively), put your comp on passive so they don't go kill crazy and murder the bounty while you're getting ready to freeze. For Kingpin bounties, the bounty must be below 5% to freeze. So if you want the bounty alive, watch for it activating and press it as soon as it does.įor the normal bounties, the bounty must be below 10% to freeze. In your mission tracker for the bounty, there is an icon you can activate that will carbon-freeze the bounty, but it only works when they are on very low health.
